As soon as I’m done with work today, I’m heading right to the track to begin my Expert career!

Nike has put together promotion for Team USA that allows aspiring artists to lay down a track and hopefully be picked for part of the Anthem that is being created for the 2008 USA Basketball Team.
Nike used VoodooVox to help with this so the artists could use their phone as a mic to lay down their track. I was assigned the task of writing the application that handles these calls, from start to finish. Its pretty exciting for me to see this go live!
As of this morning, LRRS Race Director has approved me for Expert status! I’ll be heading into LRRS Round 5 with white plates and black numbers. I’m very excited and anxious about moving up and learning from the fast guys!
Just got back from my first trip to Summit Point Motorsports Park in Summit Point, WV where Arcy and I participated in the Fourth of July CCS Round. It was a lot of fun, even though the track was in rough shape in spots. It was great to get some more seat time between Loudon events and experiance a whole new type of race track (REALLY FAST!).

Well its race week, but not the usual race week. This week Arcy and I are headed South to Summit Point, WV to race in the Mid-Atlantic CCS event.
This is a new track for me so I have a lot of work to do on Friday the 4th to learn the new course and try to get up to pace. Arcy has been here several times, so he can lead me around.
Its a 7 hour drive which will start Thursday night after work, and we’ll be coming home Sunday after the last race.
I’ll be running my 4 standard races this weekend, with 3 of them being on Sunday.

I can’t wait until the July 5/6 Summit Round! I just need to race!
This weekend marked the half way point for the 2008 Loudon RoadRacing Series. Head on over to saxmanracing.com for all the details.
ECK-Racing is heading down to Summit Point in West Virginia for the CCS July5/6 Round. I am looking forward to racing at a new track and seeing how quickly I can learn to go fast somewhere else.
I took the Ducati on Track at the 2 Day Tony’s Track Day Event. It was alot of fun to throw around the track and was almost effortless to go quick on it!
